***2011 Euro Philly Cheesesteak Run - Saturday, May 7, 2011***

Last year was the first "annual" Euro Cheesesteak Run and we had around 100 cars even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer. That's why for this year we planned it for May 7, 2011 so it will be a tad cooler. We're keeping it "Euro" related just to keep it from getting too large. If you have friends that have nice cars, we're certainly not excluding anyone, just try not to spam it around on every car forum on the internet. If you post this on any other forums, please post the link here so I can update the list.
2011 Euro Philly Cheesesteak Run
Saturday, May 7, 2011
Rain Date: Saturday, May 28, 2011
9:00 am – Meet in Rockville at Mid-Pike Plaza, Toys R Us parking lot
11802 Rockville Pike
North Bethesda, MD 20852
Leaving around 10:00 am. It takes approximately three hours to get to Philly from here.
11:15 am - Arrive at Maryland House rest stop to regroup and use the restrooms.
1:00 pm – arrive at Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks
39 East Oregon Avenue
Philadelphia, PA 19148
Facebook Event
Costs - $11 in tolls from Rockville, $6 in tolls back. A Cheesesteak is around $7 plus drinks. They also have other sandwiches, fries, mozzerella sticks, etc.
If you live in the PA, NJ, DE, NY etc area and don't want to join the cruise (or want to set up your own), just meet at Tony Luke's around 1:00 pm.
Website: Tony Luke's : Philly Original, USA & The World, Video Adventures, Pronto At Home.
Parking - the best place to park is next to the Tony Lukes restaurant, under I-95. There are at least a few hundred parking spaces so parking will not be an issue. There is also a small parking lot across the street for about 20 cars.
Eating - Across the street from the restaurant is the "steak shop" and that's where I recommend you get your food. There will be quite a line but it will be worth the wait. The restaurant has limited seating and will fill up quick with all the people that are coming.Last edited by Tonk; 03-28-2011 at 02:29 AM.

I don't want to say no, because it's not an "exclusive" event but just use your judgement. If it's posted on Jeep Garage, then it becomes "Can I post this on Mustang Forums?" and "Can I post this on Scion Life?" etc etc etc. We used to put it on around 90 forums and could have easily had over 500 cars show up but luckily we were bad planners haha.

I'm pretty sure I'll make it out. Hopefully there won't be crazy traffic like last time.

Crap! I was sick for last year's run, and this year it's falling on the same date as the WRX Victory Brewery meet.
