Thread: Property Management recommendations - Northern VA - Loudoun

Do any of you guys have a property management company that you'd recommend in the Northern Virginia area?

I'm going to be moving overseas for a few years for a new job opportunity and would like to rent out my townhouse while I'm gone. All of my housing will be paid for overseas so expenses will be low there, but it doesnt make any financial sense to let the property here sit empty all that time. Since I'll be totally out of the area, I'd prefer to have a property manager deal with any issues that arise with the house.

It makes more sense to hold on to the property rather than try to just sell it now with the market like it is right now. I'll most likely be gone for about 5 years total, so when I return I can move back in or just buy a new place and continue renting this one.

So I figured some of you guys may have dealt with property management in the past - anyone have a property manager or management company that they've had good experiences with?

The property values does suck in northern va. Are you close to Ashburn. If you want you can PM me your email and I will send it to my Aunt.

Proud Hokie Alum here! Graduated in '08 with an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering. Now that our basketball season is dead, can't wait for football season to start again! (although, it's gonna be tough getting games overseas!)

I'll be headed to Budapest, Hungary for my first 2 years overseas. Just got the housing assignment the other day - we'll be in a sweet apartment overlooking the Danube river, about 2 blocks from the Hungarian Parliament buliding. I'm pretty excited about it!
