Thread: Any Cigar Smokers in the DMV?

Can anyone recommend a good spot to have a nice cigar and drink in the DMV? The only place I know of is : Shelly's Back Room A Civilized Cigar Parlor which is a nice spot from what I hear. I still wanted to add a few more for enjoyment and to compare scenery. I will give a report on Shelly's soon for those in the area who haven't been. Maybe a l4p get together might be in order!

Shelly's is nice and is 2 blocks up from my DC office. The prices there were a little over priced for certain cigars but you are allowed to bring your own. I don’t know of to many more spots in DC to sit down and have a cigar. Let me know how it goes and if you find other places.

On Super Bowl Weekend my new cigar Haven will be opening up in Waldorf, MD. The gentleman who owns the local shop I go to (Tinderbox) in MD is opening a new Shop/Lounge and I plan to spend a lot of money and time there.

He will have a 41 foot long humidor with a ladder that rolls across the floor like in a library and is attached to the top shelves to climb up and get cigars. TV’s, couches, lockers to store your stuff, and much more.

I have no affiliations with him or Tinderbox except for being a long time customer.

Also a L4P Cigar GTG would be great

Sounds like the shop in Waldorf is going to be pretty nice! Please provide more information (address, website, etc.) whenever you get a chance. I was anticipating a nice longue at the National Harbor. Seems like the perfect spot to have a good smoke.

Let's continue to massage the GTG idea!

National Harbor is where we had the first DMV L4P GTG. Ted (agentcomputer), my wife, and I had a great time. I can talk to Ted and see if he is on board for another GTG. Let me know when is best for you and I am down.
