Endora Cars provides sketches of its Corvette-based SC-1

New German car manufacturer Endora is proud to present its first automobile (or at least a sketch of its first automobile), the Corvette-based SC-1. Endora designed the SC-1 with a span of nearly three decades in mind; the car pays homage to the radical concepts previewed throughout the 50s, 60s, and even early 70s by both American and German car manufacturers.
Under the new skin is pure American internals. The car is rides on the current sixth-generation Corvette platform and will be available in all three performance-guises currently offered by GM on its own car. Besides a standard 6.2-liter V-8 developing seven more horsepower for a new total of 437, the SC-1 can also be built off the Z06, with a 512-hp version of the 7.0-liter V-8, or the ZR1 with a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 delivering 647 hp instead of the standard 638.
All three variations are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. GM’s six-speed automatic is available as an option on the base V-8. Like the Corvette, the suspension of the SC-1 comprises cast aluminum upper and lower control arms, transverse-mounted composite leaf springs, and monotube shock absorbers on all four ends. No word if Magnetic Selective Ride Control will be available as an option. Pricing has yet to be announced; nevertheless, we would wait until we saw one in the flesh.
