Paul McCartney's 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Up for Auction
Paul McCartney. The man, the myth, the legend. Oh, and he also had a one-off Aston Martin DB4 called the 1964 Aston Martin DB5. Donning a beautiful Sierra Blue paint job, black leather interior and musical note-styled patterns in the stitching, this car is stunning. It has the heart of a Tadek Marek's dual overhead cam inline six-cylinder engine with the SU carburetors which puts out 280hp. Since 1970 it has changed owners four times. It is now in the hands of a British collector who claimed ownership in 2002. The auction takes place October 31st and is courtesy of RM Auction London. Its estimated price is $485,000 - $615,000.
