    I was told by my detailer (thanks Dusty) to ONLY use waffle-weave towels when drying my cars, and to also sparingly spray a fine mist of Prima Hydro on the car as I dry it. My cars have never looked better.

    using a QD as I mentioned above provides a barrier between the paint and the towel, aides in the drying without streaking process, saves a step from not having to go back around the car after you dry it, and adds gloss and slickness to the paint! Its a win win

    I use an absorber, drys off really well. I am going to buy a micro waffle though.

    I find dry towels to work best. if it is wet, it isn't good for drying

    The other side of the drying equation (besides a plush micro fiber) for me is using Optimum No Rinse to actually wash the car. That stuff is freaking amazing and leaves very little water to dry off of the car.

    Griots Spray Wax misted over the car while you dry works really well. Keeps the car beading for months. I use it on my daily driver F150 and all my other cars and it makes a huge difference in look and condition of the paint.
