Thread: 2011 BMW M3 sharp dent - LUXpdr

I was contacted for this pretty much brand new BMW M3 regarding the shard dent on the quarter panel. The dent looked like someone shot it with a paintball! The customer agreed to the cost and the process and i got started. I had to jack up the car and take the rear wheel/fender liner off to access the dent. I had to match the orange peal because the m3 was pretty strong, also had to heat the dent because of the sharpness. The repair took 1 hour 15 min. 99%

Thank you! Yeah it crazy because sometimes its really bad, i work on a lot of BMW's so its not bugging me as much working on now. But I'm looking at getting an M5 and first thing thats happening is color sanding!

Curious to know how much a dent like that would be to remove?. Also very nice job!. I can't even tell it was ever there.

For something like this with it being sharp and the location taking the wheel off and stripping the fender liner $200 is full price retail which is a savings of over 75% of what it would cost to paint and do body work, which won't be original and also won't have the car for about a week.
