Forgive my ignorance, is orange peal a coat of some sort that the dealership puts on that damages the vehicle or they put so much on that it eventually damages the vehicle?

Orange peel is texturing in the paint

It come from the factory like that
the surface of the paint is not flat and the light reflects weirdly off the texturing

sanding it is the way to get rid of it
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE SAND PAPER TO YOUR CAR IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO

certain things are best to leave good enough alone if you dont have the skills
Im going to make the assumption you probably have it in your paint but do not try to DIY it...

No. Was just curious since I've never heard of if before. I'm still late on getting with Envious Eric to do detailing lol Other than that I follow my old supervisors advice about certain things, "if you want it done right, get a professional." hahaha

oh woops...i always thought the 'orange peel' was a good thing, but now that i know what it actually is, i guess it makes sense that its not. i associated that 'look' with 'brand new car' like its supposed to be there.

    anyways back ot, great job!
