Default Best way to remove hard water spots.

So I go to a local car wash with the stang. The damn automatic wash breaks down right after the kid sprays my wheels and windshield with who knows what. He tells me to come back around where he proceeds to stand there with a high pressure hose, and sprays the entire car with what I would assume was water. They didn't have any luck with repairing the wash. So they give me my $$ back, and send me on my way. A little Florida sun, and you can imagine the mess I had when I got home. I think I got most of them off, but it took like 3 hrs. There has to be a better way!! I have heard of using white vinegar. Any other ideas

Wash, clay bar, light polish, then usual wax routine. Might have to polish the glass if they're etched enough.

Depending on the 'hardness' of the water, time in the sun and some other variables removing water spots could be as easy as a wash, or as intense as a full paint correction.

For next time, try a quick detail spray along with a SOFT microfiber towel. Don't rub to hard as you could easily marr the paint. All in all, there really isn't an easy way to remove water spots except to prevent them in the first place.

I always buffed them out with some 3M Finesse-It and followed that with some polishing/wax.

    Start with dish soap
    vinegar
    clay
    polish
    repaint

From top to bottom, no need to start off with polishing, if you can get it before it etches in the paint.
