Default Best way to get GUM off leather?

Didn't realize there was gum under a booster seat and now it's smeared all over my back seat!

Is there an easy way to get that off?

    thanks!

Jim, you can try to heat it up a bit with a heat gun to the point were it becomes tacky and wipe it up with warm water and cloth.... It can be hard to say without seeing it or feeling it?

I would actually think try the opposite. Use something very cold to get the gum to harden (Ice in a baggie, compressed air in a can sprayed with the can upside down) Once it has hardened, gently chisel as much of it as you can off with a plastic razor blade. Once you have most of it off, use a mixture of gentle dishwashing liquid and water and spray it on a towel and try to wipe off the rest. (check a hidden area for color transfer first) Once you have it all off, be sure to reapply your favorite Leather Conditioner. (I'd recommend Leatherique or Prima Nourish)

NO! Don't do either of those. Go to either your dealer or a good furniture store and tell them what's up. They should give you a cleaner that won't screw with the leather.

I dont think either of these is going to help.......people on the forum have more knowledge than most dealers and furniture sales man.
