Default Detail Guru's Matte Paint Question!

I have a car that was repainted Matte White and I've began noticing that there are some light surface rust spots. I bought a Meguires clay kit to try on a small area and the rust spots don't seem to be coming out.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Mo

PS: I prefer to do this myself because there aren't any local detail shops that wanted to even try or touch the car. I have been to a few spots and no one had any clue!

For protection of the paint Swissvax makes a wax formulated for satin matte finish.

Also purchaseable at our sponsor DetailersDomain.com.

Iron-X looks to be out of stock.

But Swissvax's Opaque Wax is here.

Without being an expert in matte paint my consensus is: unless it is a crappy paint job it shouldn't actually be rust - it's probably oxidized metal and iron deposits., it's hard to tell what's happening. But it sounds like a clay-barring and iron remover would work wonders.

Thank you both for your input, I'll snap some photos in the morning and get them uploaded maybe to help determine whats going on. There just little rust looking orange speckles all over the hood and trunk of the car. As a heads up Platinum Motorsports did the paint work so I know it's not a crappy paint job.

That is due to ferrous fall out, nothing to do with the paint. Very noticeable on white paint. It is ferrous particules that deposit on the surface and start to rust. Very common if you park near railways or such industrial facilities. You can use the IronX, or another system from Valugard called ABC system. You can then wax it with a wax for matte paints.

I run all the marketing for Lucci Elite; we are based out of LA. We take care of all the cars for Exotics Botique and we know Matte Paint. We will be doing BC's Panamera and Maybach tonight and we just got the Swiss-vax matte wax in this week. If you are interested in US doing your car, let me know and we will take care of it. Feel free to add us on facebook to see all of our work. "Lucci elite Detail"

Thanks I believe you are correct and now I'm not freaking out so much. I'm gonna have to order some Iron X as I don't know of a place that has it locally. I looked into the ABC System but I'd rather go with Iron X and hope that works. I appreciate your help.
