Chicago Detailer
Looking for a good detailer out of the Chicago land area for the near future; need some contacts

I may or may not sell my BMW but at the minimum she needs a good buff job to fix up the jet black paint. If I do sell, a full detail job.
Anyone throw some good names my way?

Jasons Auto Spa.
Lustr detail. It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

BUMP!
Is a "paint correction" another way of saying buffer + other paint treatment techniques? What kind of average pricing should I see for this detail? I believe Lustr's minimum is about $1200 from what I read but I got confused a bit. I have an assessment appointment today but I am walking in with little to no knowledge of what I should expect.

pay more to get in sooner!!!! LOL
"Paint correction" is the use of a machine polisher to remove permanently the defects like oxidation, scratches, swirl marks, etc from the paint via re-leveling it smooth! The word "detailing" is just the term used for cleaning a vehicle, and adding protection to it overall. They are not meant to be confused! A lot of people use the term detail to sounds fancy when all they are really doing is cleaning the car. Its the industry norm. Paint correction is a higher end service which mandates a higher price since it takes 3-10 times as long!Vehicle Reconditioning and Paint Correction Detailing Services
