I would recommend our Gloss Finish or Concorso gloss. Both LSP's have the look and color enhancement of the very best carnuba and the gloss & durability of a synthetic.
For ease of use the gloss enhancer quick detailer contains 5% percent of the polymer in both LSP finishes but gives the same appearance and is compatible with almost all waxes and sealants.
Here are some recent examples: Cant argue with black in direct sun light

Of course what gets overlooked when comparing products is other factors such as pricepoint and USERFRIENDLYNESS which in my opinion Powerlock(menzerna) is tops with Blackfire Wet Diamond Finish. Here is a Cayenne completed yesterday with Powerlock as the lsp.

Bob you're making me drool with those pics

You also hit a good point about cost and user-friendlyness. For myself, it's just the easy to use factor.

It doesn't get much easier then Jeff Werkstat's Acrylic Jett. You spray it on, and wipe it off. Gives a decent look, and great durability for a spray sealant. You can be done waxing in like 10 minutes or less.
But I'm sure there's nothing wrong with powerlock--and I'm sure it's ease of use is right on par with Blackfire and Jetseal. But with those, you have to apply, let sit (sometimes you can buff as you make your way back around the car), and then buff off. With AJT, you spray, buff dry, done.

BLACKFIRE spray! fast application, looks amazing and not that time consuming bullshit...
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Found these pictures taken a few months ago of a Porsche Cayenne after a super wash was performed. Gloss finish was applied over 9 months ago and all that was applied was the Gloss Enhancer quick detailer after the hand wash. As you can see in the picture the gloss is still looks outstanding and holding up very well!
White is a hard color to make pop like black or other dark colors. Bobb choice using a light color (white) car to demonstrate the gloss, color enhancement and shimmer was the right choice to show a product full gloss capabilities!
Yes, product that is easy to use, offers great gloss & durability, and is cost effective to apply is key and gloss-it meet all the above important criteria.
Enjoy~

not to stir the pot...BUT
pictures of the cars we do (paint correction guys) arent the best for WAX proof:
what I mean is showing pics of a car with X brand wax applied or Y brand sealant applied doesnt do anything. We all know its the prep: compounding, polishing, polishing that give 90% of the look of the car! For all we know, those could be pics of full correction and jeweling!
I just did a porsche cayenne with 105, 203, DWG, THEN BFWD and there was no change in the color, but the slickness was amazing! Same thing with the silverado I just did with SIP, SIP, FPII then BFWD...color didnt change, neither did the gloss, but the slickness was unreal!
It goes back to what BOB said...user-friendliness! BFWD seems to streak a bit for me, making me want to switch it up and try out the new menzerna. but then again, I have 40oz of megs 21 to use up as well...BFWD is easy on and semi-easy off. I have to spit shine it to make it look good in pics! I have tried 4 different towels for removal, and 4 different pads for application...none any different but the shorter nap MF work a little better
Its like when people come out mid detail and say wow, if you can make the rest of the car look lik this fender, Ill be stoked...
"uh, I havent even final polished that fender yet, let a lone sealed it"
...and you tell the difference between a side by side BFWD and wolfgang fuzion on a split hood with a 105, SIP, 203, FPII IPA prepped surface?
I couldnt when I did it myself in person.Last edited by Envious Eric; 03-19-2010 at 04:16 AM.
