Default 2010 Spot correction (Corvette ZR1)

Premier had me come in today and do a spot repair on this brand new ZR1, there was a large dust nib on the front bumper, and a cluster of deep scratrches on the rear endcap near the spoiler.

The dust nib was a challenge as I could not just hit it with 1000 or 1500 grit as the texture would not have matched the factory orange peel, so I feathered it with (trizact) 3000 grit and corrected the finish to preclude the film installation(on the entire car!!).

    Mt Shasta sized dust nib

    After sanding and wool correction

    After fine polishing

    Rear endcap scratches

    Sanded with Trizact

    Fine polishing with PC

    Corrected

Deep scratches are now just shadows not visible in U.V. light, only under halogens...... mission accomplished

Wilson from Premier de-badgeing the front quarter

Silver paint, no chrome wheels... could this be a Corvette I actually like?

Paint run yes, open nib no. Leveled in small increments so surrounding peel texture was matched with the repair.
