    Exclamation Pressure Washer Recommendation

I live in a condo thus looking for something that is fairly small and easy to use.

Intended usage: wash off terrace/balcony after winters, wash cars etc. Soap dispenser is not required.

I've been searching online and came across the problem of reliability as many pressure washers tend to break so quality is important.

There seem to be 2 types of engines: which one is better? Water Pressure (PSI)? Water Flow (GMP)? Cleaning Speed (Cleaning units)?

I stumbled on AR pressure washers: how is it?

Thank you ahead of time for your feedback.

GPM is always the deciding factor for volume washing. FOr what you're after I don't think it's going to matter a whole lot. The little guys like that one have one main weakness. The hose. Usually cheap plastic or brittle rubber. Upgrade the hose and you should be fine for awhile. They obviously don't make them with the best stuff so you might get one that only last a couple months or you might get lucky and get one you never have an issue with. There's just no consitency between them. But it dosen't sound like you plan on using it a great amount anyways so that should be perfect for your situation.

That little guy is pricey; at ~900$. Not sure why. Searched and it appears it's made out of better material in and out.

    Anyone to chime in thoughts?

900 for an electric pressure washer is ridiculous. You can get a high powered gas for that.

    How big is/are your deck(s)?

Like I said, I know nothing about pressure washers. Just looking for something reliable that won't break every other day or replace parts. Deck area is around 700 sqf.

What kind of deck is it? Pressure washers can wreak havoc on some composite and soft wood boards.
Just trying to narrow it down so this doesn't happen

^ Floors are made out of rocks. No worries to wreak it.

I am moving out of my condo (doesnt allow washing of cars ) into a new townhouse this summer. I will be purchasing one soon and will probably be leaning towards an electronic Karcher cold water unit. For your use you only need a good electronic unit.
