Thread: Porsche 997 Turbo Correction & Detail

Turbo with 700 + hp with all the goodies, entire car is wrapped sans the decklid and wing by the capable crew @ Premier.

This car was recently purchased by a new client from another client of mine and I have not seen this car for close to a year before the entire car was wrapped and the new Tech Art skirts were installed(GT Street).

Start of the detail.......







Finally went through my supply of GI wheel gel and used the Auto Glym stuff Ken sent me, Aaron and others were right this stuff is top notch









Spot free rinse



Claying step, there was a quite a bit of fallout on the film in the nine months since I did the car last



Example of marring on the film near the fuel filler cap



Corrected except for one deep scratch that almost went through the film, without film this would have been to the primer if it was bare paint



Four polishing steps were completed on the film, laying down the sealant protection (two coats)



Stripping off old dressing and dirt



All trim was cleaned and dressed





On to the interior, pedals cleaned



Cleaning the Tech Art steering wheel(tightness)





Vents cleaned

Removed seat pad boldsters, and cleaned underneath







Now to the engine bay, behind this cooling fan there was built up road film, so the fan was removed to clean this area









Steamed all the hinges and fasteners







Engine bay all clean





Jambs cleaned and polished





Glass had fine hard water etching especially the windshield which was corrected

Stunning work as always Bob. Don't mind others low-balling in your area.....definitely not as capable as you (they cannot compete on the same level from a quality standpoint, so they must compete via pricing).

We've been using Bob's services for the past 4 years and we have yet to see anyone better and more meticulous than him. That's why he gets to work on the most exclusive toys.
