Dont see it on the Swissvax UK site, only the 200 mL pot. The main SV site does have the smaller pot. I sent SV UK a message asking if they have the smaller one but no reply yet.

Dunno but I may have to claim marketing BS on this one... I have a matte black car myself (wrapped) so of course I have considered buying this wax, but then logic kicked in and put it on the same level as the other 40% (by volume) carnauba waxes they have.

Now, if this wax has 40% nuba in it, that means it should leave a "shiny" surface after removing it no? I mean, that layer of nuba is what gives it its shine technically, no? Well that's what most wax makers say nuba does "carnauba shine". Now, with Opaque they've either achieved a technological breakthrough or they're contradicting what they've been saying for the other waxes. My vote is for the latter. Did they figure out how to make carnauba matte-looking instead of shiny? I think not. The only thing I can assume they've done with this wax is add more solvents so the oils dry more thoroughly, thus preventing sweating and/or streaking. Will use some SW on the detail wagon tomorrow and share the results!

Not picking on you here, Aaron! Just picking apart the wax and trying to justify the extra $$$ for something like it.

The wax was trialed with matte black panels from Lamborghini direct, all tests were done at the Swissvax HQ in Fallenden. It is designed not to leave a shiny appearance but protect the delicate matte surface, i have seen it applied, taken off etc and i can confirm it is not BS. Tests were done over a period of 14 months to see the effects that this wax gave in the matte finish and it was proven not to damage the delicate paint or make it shiny in any way. Swissvax.us have it and i can also source it direct and do free shipping.
