All detailing questions
I think we should have a special thread for people who want's to ask a question regarding proper car care and detailing. If admins think it's a good idea, please make this thread a sticky. All members can ask questions here and recived an answer form our pro detailers.

I was talking to Envious Eric about something like this just today! We are planning a trip in Nov. to Scottsdale to service a few cars - couple being L4P members - and, discussed this very idea!! The whole posting of detail work is cool but, I think a lot of the members would like to know how to best keep their finish in top condition. I always educate clients as how to best care for their car after it has been serviced. If they decide it works for them, great. If not, they will sign on for a regularly scheduled wash, service, whatever. But, at least they have been given the option and understand what is best fo their car.I hope once a Mod has been assigned to the detailing section, he/she can solicit postings for certain types of car care - carpet care, LSP prep/application, wheel cleaning, etc.

I agree with Raw on the thread subject. One thread could get a bit convoluted with a multitude of questions. So, long as each individual thread is clearly titled, questions could be answered and future similar questions could be just searched and the new query can be directed to that thread.

I used to have a picture page on my website with all the steps I take in detailing a car in general form...I took it down as it was a basic tutorial on how to detail! Maybe I should have left it???
But Andy and I will come up with something brief and to the point in the next couple of weeks hopefullyVehicle reconditioning and paint correction detailing, window tinting, PDR, ECU tuning
