Effective 10.08.09 - Detailing Subforum New Policies & Rules
Since the inception of the detailing sub-forum, this section has been one of the most highly visited and fastest growing areas of our community. With growth comes growing pains. The L4P Admin and team has being working on a solution to continue fair treatment of sponsors and members alike.
We have created a targeted sponsorship package strictly for the detailing community considerably more in tune with their specific needs, and also put new rules in place to support and enforce the same exact principals as followed by rest of the community, members and sponsors alike.
1. Promoting your product or service is strictly a privilege reserved for sponsors of the community.
2. Detailers can not use their business name as your user name or any other name that promotes their business.
3. There is absolutely no posting of detailing pics that are done by a business/professional or for financial gain except by sponsors of the detailing forum.
4. We are creating a new directory of all Sponsoring Detailers that members can use to find detailing services in their area.
5. We are currently looking for a moderator specific to the detailing community that will monitor all threads closely to insure fairness to sponsors and members alike.

Raw,
Thanks for doing this! I hope that as more of those myself and others solicit to migrate to the Board, there will be a high percentage of those who see the value of sponsorship and make the move to join up!! Perhaps, for those who step up to sponsorship, Cooper will offer, for sale, some of his pics for sponsor logo material??
Thanks again!!

It's about time , because it was going out of hands. Good to hear that you guys really care for our detailing section. Once again you show us how professinal you are and how well organized is our community. New rules are a great chance for new sponsors to show us great work and support this forum at the same time. Great job guys.

Yeah, I can only hope that those that haven't yet stepped up as sponsors but, have benefitted from their prior postings on L4P will show their support or, at least their thanks, and pony up for support of the community!! And, going a step further, I have asked Raw if it would be cool that I place a hyperlink to L4AP on my website. If that works out cool with the Board's management, I would hope that all the detailers on the Board do the same to further promote exposure to L4P!!!!

Is there somewhere that list what a sponsor package is? I guess I understand the reasoning but it's seems rather extreame to me. If it's not to much of a sticker shock I can tossing a few ponies in the right direction.
