Thread: Mercedes CL-65 Correction

This beautiful Mercedes came into the shop for some much needed correction, as the entire car sans the trunk is wrapped by the crew @ Premier.

There was hard water spots mixed with some pretty bad scratches on a few places such as the the lower rear right bumper and drivers side door, now with film the correction is much more difficult as you cannot wool pad correct aggresively and wet sanding is not an option either

With the proper technique and patience correction on film is possible



Working the film with the Festool at high DA speed



The trunk lid was the only place not covered in film, there were some deep RIDS so I corrected with Megs 105 and Surbuf 4" pad and followed Menz for final finishing



After two passes with 105



Finished down after 85RD and 87MC/Cg extreme acrylic



The extra finishing steps were worth it(sun shot)



Interior needed only light cleaning









Final wipedown before going outside for sun inspection
