End of the month
I've been working on this car for a few days. While I'm waiting for the floor to be sprayed in my new garage I kinda have to pull out our cars and work in the attached garage - ugly looks from the GF. This car was in good shape and didn't require much work but, it gave me a chance to use my new Shinex and Rotex machines as well as a few other new products. On the upside, I normally service only three cars per month personally so, this car extended into Oct. by one day - I finished it yesterday. So, I can sit back and coast with two more cars in Oct.

No flaming here. I enjoyed the writeup, great before and afters. Where did you get your Festool and what are your impressions? I have heard good and bad.

The Rotex is big and clunky but, surprisingly nice when you get it on the car. The Shinex...the jury is still out!!! I prefer the bail handle of the 9227 - I have one retrofitted to place on my Flex rotary. And, the Shinex gets hot, fast. I don't know that many are going to want to pay $500 for a rotary machine??We'll see how it holds up. I'll keep you posted.

Quick update, Blake...after using the Festool for little over two weeks, I went ahead and puchased another to use with the 3" backing plate. Gonna get rid of the Flex mahines and use with the Festools. Two Shinex and two Rotex machines and I'm done!! Makita is too clunky and the Flex is too loud and hot!!
Thanks!!
