    Whats the question?

If you want it to last then throw sealant on and throw a nice carnauba wax over it for some shine.

Well my friend swears by sealant, and I am going to have to agree (even though I don't use it as I don't have the money or equipment)... He uses Klasse.

I've had my cars detailed and LSPed with Zaino. The result and durability are simply amazing.

I was just wondering what others thought.

Wax = deep, glowy, rich finish

Sealant = high gloss, slick, wet finish + extended durability

For any light colored vehicle I would always stick with sealants, they just make light color cars pop really well.

Also as for layering waxes over sealants its a good way to get that full spectrum look, but layering a wax over a sealant will diminish the durability of the sealant which technically is designed to last longer.

Since winter is coming up, here in NJ at least. Im sticking with layering up cars with 3 coats of sealant for as much durability as possible.

That's what I do with the Black Ice combo I have from Andrew. Water still beads nicely after 2-3 months.

Believe it or not, a guy I know uses this Airplane wax called RejeX on his Viggen. It is unbelievably shiny and he poured water on it and it just slid off of the car. He said it was last applied 6 months prior. . I was pretty impressed!

Edit: after searching yahoo pictures for pics of RejeX cars, I found our own Itzkirb's car!

and on some other person's Audi and STi

This is a great question. Wax or sealants will offer different quality's but in the end you will determine the look and durability that you desire.

I know it confusing with all the choice's out there to go from. everyone has a favorite just like ice cream there is a flavor for everyone!

Gloss-it wanted to create a consistent line of products from a to z. Owning my won detail studio for over 19 years and having some many different products to choose from was way to confusing and created a much more counter productive detail for running a successful biz is what pushed me to create my own line.

Our products were develop for professionals but also are car enthusiast friendly. I would recommend our gloss-it 4oz starter kit which allow you to try the whole line without spending a grip.

Please feel free to pm or call with any questions.
