Default can you guys recommend a good home detailing kit?

hey guys, i'm looking for a good starter detailing kit. something completely like all the products, plus the equipment (orbital, etc.) any recommendations on places to purchase a complete kit (like the griot's garage Machine Polish & Wax Kit (Generation 2 Orbital), or am i better off piecemealing a bunch of recommended products together.

    thanks.

I bought most my polishes from Adams Polishes. I picked up a Porter Cable 6" orbital from Lowe's and haven't looked back.

Adams polishes are good but for better finish on the car there are better alternatives. Like Phil said, what is the current condition of your cars? How frequently do you wash them? What color are they? How many miles? Make and model? A lot goes into picking pads and polishes so lay it all out! What are you looking for? What do you want your paint to look like?
