I completely agree that Jimmy Lucci is the man for the job. Do a search for the paint correction he did on my 2005 RED SL65, fantastic!

I would hate to jump into this pool. But I just want to add that SCD should not be compared to Jimmy. I myself is a less fortunate detailer who deals with people who are less fortunate to own their dream car. But keep in mind.... A detailer who corrects mostly daily drivers vs exotics, doesn't mean the less fortunate detailer is less skilled.

Thank you for the compliment I appreciate it!

Sounds great looking forward to chatting with you!
Thank you sir as you have been there through the ups and downs when I first moved out here from Texas. One of the few real people around the car industry.
Thanks Brian! I wouldn't hesitate to refer you to anyone either. Top class craftsmanship.
Appreciate it Addison... I see you killin it!
Thanks Chris for you continued support! I know its been about 6 months or so how is the SL65 holding up!?
I couldn't agree more with your post... I don't like being compared to anybody myself personally I don't think we as detailers should be compared to one another. Every detailer has his own gig going on whether they do wash and waxes or paint correction or 1 steps we are all in the business to be successful and make money. I pertain to luxury/exotic clients because they pay my rates and want their car looking 100% perfect and that's all I chose to do from the beginning. I would correct a minivan from 1980 if the client that owned it was willing to pay my rate but that's most likely never going to happen. All in all I agree with your statement.Add us on Facebook! --> Lucci Elite Detail

I've never had any of my vehicles detailed by Jimmy (nor have I ever met him) so I can't speak about the quality of his work, but I can say this...I am about the pickiest person I know when it comes to my cars (ask some of the other detailers on this board)...and Richard from SCD has never failed to make me happy. I've been bringing my cars to him (or having him come to my home to detail) since back in 2006 and I have always been very pleased with the end results. Based on some of the posts here though, I would try Jimmy if I ever needed a detail and Richard wasn't available.
Luckily, we are fortunate enough to have more than one detailer of this quality in the area.My Garage Build Thread...http://www.luxury4play.com/garage/87...e-remodel.html

Felt the need to also chime in. I own a Black GTC that requires considerable paint correction and detailing. After contacting a few So cal area detailers I had a conversation with Jimmy and immediately knew he spoke my language in regards to quality, effort and attention to detail. A friend who referred me said to be prepared to experience a level of professionalism, attention to detail and an instinctive pursuit of perfection which is a rare find. I will be dropping the GTC off with Jimmy this week so that he can perform his magic.
Pics of the process will be posted once completed.

In follow up, I left my GTC with Jimmy to work his magic. First class guy with a secure well lit facility in Irvine. Jimmy is a craftsman who knows his craft and will take the time to explain it.
Here are a few camera pics Jimmy sent that I will share. Even a 50/50 pic on a camera phone shows off his talent.
Will start a new thread later outlining this detail.
