Thread: Amazing Sandwich concotion of mine

So, I was bed-ridden and feverish, and as I recover, friends and family take it upon themselves (despite my insisting that I don't need anything) to leave food or beverages at my front door. Well, family dropped off some Lox with the sundries they left this morning.

So....I was making a chicken salad sandwhich, which I make with breast meat, mayo, a tiny bit of mustard, and minced green onion. I thought i'd get creative and throw the Lox in with it. I Mashed the mixture to the consistency I prefer, and SPREAD ON!


I loved it. I think next time, I'll finish the chicken salad, then put the Lox on, preserve it in the state I got it, just lay it on top like a slice of cheese.


Anyways.....give it a try. Nothing like tuna salad. It's just......good....

I will have to try it out. My fav is cool whip and bolgna sandwiches.

Not bad. I think something else I might try with it, some black pepper on the chicken salad mash, kinda offset from the Lox more.

Nope. Grew up with some Jewish friends, where i got the taste for Lox. and Hebrew national. yeah baby.

Ha ha. i knew there had to be some connection.


I have 4 hebrew national salamis in my fridge, and about 12 hot dogs
