Default attempted to make Spicy Tangerine Beef

As much as I like goin out for dinner,
what better date is it to stay in and cook with your girl,
drink some wine and have fun at the comfort of your own home

Sure didnt taste like Sino's, but wasn't bad.

looks just like Mongolian beef, with a twist

A few glasses of wine made it all better

    Got the recipe from here:

Nice. Looks really good. I may have to give that recipe a shot this weekend. It's either that or Chili.

I love tri-tip. Hey Secure- Hirsch's on Park and Alma always butchers up a nice tri-tip. I like to braise it in some simple spices (salt/pepper/rosemary/thyme/bay leaf/just a touch of sage), red wine and crushed tomatoes. About mid-way into the braising, I'll add garbanzos, pintos and red potatoes. Total braising time about 3 hrs. Fuggedaboutit!
