    Default Opened Smirnoff Vodka

I have a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka that i took from my cupboard but the seal has been broken but the lid was tied back on tightly, I dont know when it was first open but there was dust on the lid. Is it still ok to drink the vodka or would it make me ill due to being opened in the past?

    Thanks

Vodka doesn't spoil. If the lid were left off completely for an amount of time, then some of the alcohol content could evaporate off.

    Exactly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if capped tightly I believe if anything it will become more potent?

Vodka never sits long in my house. As long as you didn't buy it with the seal broken you're alright.

It would need the ability to evaporate even a small air leak would suffice over time; hence why makers mark is dipped in wax...iirc
