    Default Vegas Restaurants

Will be traveling to Vegas in a couple weeks. Anyone know of any sweet restaurants in Vegas my friend and I can hit up during our stay? I have no preferences seeing as I eat all types of food.

    Thanks L4Phamily.

Thanks for the thread! ^^^ Almost caught the Goldrush Rally coming through too, just a few days short.
More specifically it would be for dinner, higher end/dressy would be the preference. In addition, a cool atmosphere would be great....and unfortunately, it has to be family friendly on this one.

Ummm we moved around to different restaurants around the city and casinos but the only one I remember enjoying a lot was Gallagher's Steakhouse at New York New York. The prices are pretty cheap too by nice restaurant standards...Im also a huge steak fan which is prob why I liked it a lot.

In that area, definitely go to Charlie Palmer's Steak at the Four Seasons. Areole is popular for the wine angels. Mix is also a great place to go for the views and the restaurant is not bad either.

Heading north up the strip, you could head over to the Mansion at MGM and eat at, Joel Robuchon; Jean Geoges at Aria; Milos at Cosmo (not impressed with anything else there- restaurnt wise. Stay away from STK!! Mesa or Picasso at Bellagio; Guy Savoy at Caesar's; random, but Benihana at the Hilton is always fun for the family; several places in Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo..

As you can tell, the list goes on and on. I should note that Maggiano's at Fashion Show is great for the family as well.

There are obviously a lot more places you can choose to eat at, but those are what I would recommend to anyone on the strip. Hope it helps.

*not sure if by family you mean kids or adults? Suggestions above are for adults to enjoy*

Aburiya Raku lounge. Will change/expand your perception of how good Japanese food can be. Kids should do just fine there, with everything on the menu being a small plate. Off strip but not too far to be daunting. Only place in Vegas that I must go to every time I visit.
When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

Was at Maggiano's for the first time last night. Impressed at food and price.

Neros at Caesars is also a good choice for a great steak. Joel Rubuchon is amazing, and Mix at the top of Mandalay bay is good too.

I haven't been to the restaurant in Mandarin Oriental, but I've only heard great things about the restaurants up there. Obviously, the quality of service is going to be on par with anyone else in Vegas.

I agree that everything in Wynn/Encore is great. If you go to Venetian/Palazzo, everything is safe, but please stay away from Tao-restaurant or Lavo-restaurant.

Milos gets a +1, great quality in everything!
