Fair Food FTW!
Okay.....maybe it's just me, but don't you guys love fair food? It only rolls around once a year and when it does....oh boy! I love the gyros, elephants ears, and corn on the cob! At the end of the day I'm sure my cholesterol count shot up several points and my healthy diet is ruined for the rest of the month, but BOY is it worth it!
I just don't go on the rides afterwards. I must be getting old!
I'm not a fan of scones though.
Someone should start a "fair food" fast food chain!

I'm sick of fair food. I worked in and around fairs for a year a while back. I was kinda like a high priced carney. I swear I grew like 4 inches in my waist that year.

I went to the Minnesota State Fair over Labor Day and they have everything on a stick: porkchops, deep-fried candy bars, deep-fried spaghetti, 2/3 lb slabs of bacon carmelized with maple syrup, pizza, and I forget what else in addition to the regular fair food of cheese curds, funnel cakes, etc.
I got the bacon on a stick and it was pretty good.

My girlfriend and I were talking about fair food yesterday. I've been craving fried oreo's but we missed the fair this year. They also make fried coke syrup that is supposed to be good as hell. Still have to try that.

The fair hasn't come yet, but we did get a funnel cake a few weeks ago at festival downtown.
