Plan your brewery activities carefully, as their hours open to the public are screwy. I have had very bad luck timing visits on numerous trips to Belgium.

Belgian beer addict here. My local Whole Foods has a crazy good range of Belgians, and my goal is to try all of em.
So far, I prefer tripels, and Tripel Karmeliet is the best. Simply amazing.
My non-Belgian detour: Unibroue. My goodness, they're good. La Fin du Monde = bomb, and even the Trader Joe's Vintage Ale 2011, brewed by them, is crazy good for $5.
