Thread: worst and best dishes to tryed?

my worst is like in indonesia and other parts o world mainly asia - dorimon dam that like dead animal - it is like graperuit friend "pamela" only dash so bad do not know how to describe need to taste...

and best maybe lasagne or other italy food

I think the OP is talking about Durian, aka Jackfruit. It smells like hot trash and isn't allowed in tight spaces like public transportation and hotels. The thing looks like a giant spiked lime but a bit lighter in color. Some people love the taste but the custard lke texture is off-putting to me.

durian and jackfruit are different fruits.

dried jackfruit chips are really good.
so are the seeds that are roasted.

durian on the other hand is just crazy nasty smelling. but it tastes pretty good.

Have you ever seen the episode of Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern where he tries the durian?

I'm always amazed that he can keep a straight face when trying foods, and then go "that was quite possibly the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten" haha

You are right Big - I always get them confused and and up thinking they are the same thing. I too enjoy Jackfruit but I really hate Durian...
