    have you guys checked this...

    Chicago Michelin Guide Revealed: Alinea, L20 Get 3 Stars : Michelin Chicago 2011 : Eater Chicago

    i have been to trotters and it is amazing... never been to any of the others. anyone excited there are more and more michelin guids for the US?

    better call now, most of those 2 and 3 stars places are booked weeks out usually...

    l2O will lose their 3 stars next year - the chef left right before they announced the stars. imo, it was merely a 2-star joint anyways.

    Alinea is the real deal - not exactly my preference - but (most) everything a 3-star should strive for.

    i'm happy that Blackbird got 1 star - that's the epitome of high-quality casual eating.
