Thread: DeuS - Brut des Flanders

Wow. Anyone had this? I was highly sceptical, given the insane price and cheesy Dom Perignon ripoff bottle and labeling, but this is a fantastic beer. I am a fan of Belgian beers, especially Trappists, and I am puzzled that a "Flanders" beer would be sent to France for third fermentation. Seems a rather Walloon thing to do, but I guess the French are tops at riddling. Anyone looking for a killer "occasion" beer should check it out.

I have had Deus and I was also pleasently surprised. It is a nice beer to deink occasionally. I also enjoy Trappist beers and I must say that Westmalle is one od my favorites.
