    My sister is a pastry chef and has her own business. She is considering investing a some sort of food costing software. Any recommendations? Suggestions? Help...

    Have her take a look at a site called chef2chef.net. I'm a cook and have picked up a ton of tips and tricks from the forums on this site. She may already know about it, but if she doesn't she'll be happily surprised.

    There are reviews of the different costing software. Plus there's a forum for just pastry which she might enjoy.

    Another site she should try is cheftalk.com/forums. It's the same basic thing, just with different folks.
