Popovers!
I've been watching way too many Good Eats re-runs.

Dead simple recipe. Flour, eggs, milk, salt, butter:

Combined in the Bullet:

Had to make do with a jumbo muffin pan:

40 minutes @ 400 degrees:

Easy Cleanup!

The large molds didn't allow them to pop too much, but they still tasted great.

They look nice. But you should try them the English way and make Yorkshire Puddings to go with your Sunday Roast. Same recipe, but instead of putting the batter straight into the muffin tin, put some oil in each hole and stick it in the oven until the oil is starting to smoke... THEN pour the batter in and whack em in the oven for 20 minutes. Yum
Click for a very well spoken English lady from Yorkshire showing you how to make them!

Thanks for the tip. My mother's side of the family is English, so roast beef, yorkshire pud & gravy was a Sunday night ritual while I was growing up
.
Alton actually has an interesting recipe for it too, I think he basically pours the batter right over the beef drippings and bakes it all in one large pan. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like it should add some nice meaty flavour!
Thanks for the compliments everyone.
