Why there are NO Caviar Thread????

I love caviar. Being Russian I grew up eating it with butter on pumpernickel bread. Yum! Had a whole jar of Osetra on my own at Gary Danko's last week. Thank goodness for vegan friends.

I still remember the first time of trying caviar...I was 7 and flying first class aeroflot....my mom and my brother, nor my dad ate the caviar...so I ate 4 portions..and got addicted to it...thats how memorable good caviar is.

When it was? I remeber caviar in Airflot when I fly some 20 years ago....To Soviet Far East...It wasn't first class - just regular, but to Kamchatka full of Red Caviar

it was 89/90...forgot...felt weird being on airflot as an american
felt awesome in moscow airport though....so big.

Well, we can get the good stuff, but it's been stepped on so much (i.e. marked up at every layer of the distribution chain) that it's sinfully expensive by the time it hits American shores......

So many people around me eschew caviar for being so blatantly..rich. . I guess that's what I'm getting at. I like the stuff. Black mainly, so many have never had it and they just can't enjoy. I have no problems buying the stuff, I never even have to share!
