My parents make good ones, but i live on my own now, so i cant steal the homemade ones now...

I made some last night and i used

    4cups bisquick
    2 pounds sausage
1 pound extra sharp cheddar cheese
    1 egg

cooked for 10 mins in an infrared cooker..

for some reason they just taste like a spicy cheese biscuit....

    what did i do wrong?

    What is the bisquick for?
That sounds terrible and of course it would taste like bread.

Try bread crumbs or dried bread cubes.
You know that guy LAbull on L4P, that's me, Brendan. Warning: If I typed it and it seems a bit off, it's probably SARCASM.

Also start with 1 cup of bread crumbs.

Maybe put that in. Make one ball and see how you like it.

    Good luck.

I dunno but I'd try corn bread instead. Sounds better.
