Ok, I proposed a steak cookoff so here it is. The rules are simple....
Post up pics of your steak cooking from start to finish.
Here is my dinner tonight.
Details
Steak - 21 day aged custom cut cowboy bone-in ribeye
Seasoning - Kosher salt, fresh tellicherry peppercorn cracked

looks good my first attempt was a little rarer than i would have liked... tomorrows attempt im going to add 15 seconds to each side and then keep in oven another minute 1.5 mins

That happens. It really is important to take a temp reading right out of the oven to see where you stand. Mine needed another 90 sec in the oven tonight. It turned out a little south of medium rare but was excellent to say the least. Post some pics!

We are really trying to stick to organic and be healthy but there are times when I just need to get my red meat fix. Next time you make it to TX the meal is on me and that goes for any L4P member!
