    So I am planning on Q'n tomorrow and am looking to try something new with my chicken. I have always stuck with teriyaki...need something NEW!

    big fan of jerk chicken

    way easy and really you can add more or less of whatever you like (i usually go heavy on the brown sugar and habanero .... the sweet/spicy combo = fantastic)
    and, its mostly stuff you probably already have in your fridge

    base:
    * 1 cup sweet baby ray's bbq sauce
    * 1 tablespoon olive oil
    acids:
    * 1 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    * 2 tablespoons ketchup
    * 2 tablespoons worceshire sauce
    * lime juice, preferably fresh and added to taste
    sweeteners:
    * 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    * 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    spices:
    * tabasco, to taste
    * 4 garlic cloves, chopped
    * 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
    * 4 to 5 habaneros, diced
    * 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
    * 2 teaspoons ground allspice
    * 2 teaspoons black pepper
    * 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
    * 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    put everything into a gallon ziploc bag and swish around.
    add chicken.
    swish some more!
    leave in the fridge overnight.

    For a dry rub I like this stuff:
    Weber® Grill Creations® Kick ’N Chicken™ Seasoning

    For marinade I like this stuff:
    Dale's Seasoning - History

    Yeah you gotta use dales for a short time. No overnight marinating!!!
    I usually do 30-60 min before grill time and I leave it sitting out.

    If you want something quick, simple, that tastes great. Just use some good quality olive oil, a little bit of lemon juice, salt and pepper, and lots of fresh rosemary. Personally, I like a simple sauce, but it depends on how you like your flavors.
