No.. I've never been to Korea, but one of my best friends is from there and introduced me to Soju. So i've had plenty of experiences being drunk and crazy on Soju.

When I was in the Coast Guard I was stationed in Alameda for four years, we went up and down the entire West Coast ( mazatlan, acapulco, puerto vallarta, galapagos islands, san diego, san pedro, portland, seattle, kodiak, seward and dutch harbor) some for migrant and drug interdiction and then some for search and rescue. Four months after I got off the boat they went to Russia and I was pissed!
