    Default 2 kitchen knives professionally sharpened for free

    Sur La Table is running it's annual "sharpen two knives for free" event. Take two of your best but dullest kitchen knives to any of their stores and they will sharpen them for you...you might have to leave them or if they have time, they will do it while you wait. If you want more knives sharpened, they charge $1 per inch.

    Posts about free products and services are always appreciated. But I'll have to add that a lot of folks have posted on various food and cooking forums that SLT's knife sharpening leaves a lot to be desired. The consensus is that while free is good, you're getting what you pay for. If you've got some expensive, high quality knives, you should avoid SLT and take them to a place that has folks who specialize in sharpening.
