Question Recommendation for a Panini Maker?

I am looking to get one and there seems to be a wide variety. Who makes a good one that will last?

DeLonghi makes pretty decent appliances that are reasonably priced.

Do you have experience with that particular model? I am really looking for some personal experience here. I have alot of different counter-top appliances of various brands. I don't think there is any one brand that makes the best of everything.

I had a George Foreman grill that worked as a panini.

Yup I have no personal experience with the DeLonghi grill, but I've used their coffee makers and they work great haha!

And agreed about the George Foreman; I've used mine to make some serious pressed sandwiches. I have the OE spec-1 model complete with worn-off signature.

I just got one for Father's Day...trying it out tonight. Grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, spinach, motz and a touch of home made diavolo red sauce.

We have the Cuisinart Griddler. Works great, and the grills are removable for easy cleaning. I think they also have different grills for things like pancakes.
