    Default himilayan salt blocks

    anyone buy these for presentation/addition of fine salt to dishes?

    was watching iron chef and saw this and kinda found it interesting....

    yeah, they served fish on them on tv... and u just rub against the block to add more salt... and it was heated to keep fish warm... and the guy said they reuse em, and becomes seasoned with use... seemed really cool.

    read site, says how to use/etc.... looks like needs gentle heat, cause extreme can cause fissures and cracks.
