i didn't have it in Japan but i've had it 2-3x here in the states at Urasawa - i've never felt a tingle. sounds like fun though

I suppose it's one of those things worth eating once for the novelty, but I can't imagine it tastes better than a piece of kama toro.

Never had hagashi toro, and I would never have expected any meat from the tail to be so fatty, but from what I've read, it's incredible.

Yes. I've had it in Japan and other parts of Asia, but never here in the States.

Do have it when you have the opportunity. Exquisite stuff......
