:Sick Monster BBQ Pit:
I like to Cater events for Friends And Family and I specialize in "Santa Maria Style" BBQ. I decided to have a Fabricator buddy make me a special pit that Santa Maria itself has never seen. Of course, they have trailer-pits, but this one is gonna be the one that I can trailer to an L4P event, making sure that we don't go hungry. I'll also keep it in the backyard to entertain on the weekends when the fellas stop by as we listen to Blues and drink some booze, enjoying the Smoke of the Red Oak Wood going into the thin air making people hungry in a 1/4 mile radius of us.
Here are some pics of the construction of this Masterpiece, there are twin grills one measuring 36x24 while the other is 24x22, front of the pit measuring up @ 18inches with the back side @ 24inches X 60inches from left to right, Key piece: Jim Boos 24x24x2 1/2 ButcherBlock, here we go, and Summer time awaits it...

So you are in Santa Maria. Not too far from G-Rides. I lived in A-Town for 11 years and partied in SM a lot. Santa Maria is home of the Tri-Tip. Up in the Central Coast that is our meat staple! LOL! We should all meet up in Santa Barbara and BBQ at the park when it warms up!

Hmm, nice rig, you'd be right at home with some of the pits that show up around here, though it's a tad on the small side for whole hog.....!!! Drag the thing down for the Memphis in May International BBQ Festival and you'll be part of a continuous 72 hour party...
