    Default Ghetto Steak Contest

Ok with the downturn in the economy I had an idea to have a ghetto steak contest while shopping. So I bought a 4 buck 2.6lb bone in beef chuck pot roast today.

Post your ideas to make it taste mega yummy, I will pick one, take pics, cook it to spec, and post a review. If it gets a thumbs up I will devote a thread to you, if it sucks Gunner dog gets a steak dinner.

This might just be a ploy for The Pun to be able to make a steak, but should be fun...

Coat with lots of salt and pepper and olive oil, throw into a HOT pan with some butter and thyme and then oven until ready.

    Tenderize! Tenderize! Tenderize!

Pierce it with a fork on both sides as many times as possible. Coat it with a light helping of olive oil and then apply sea salt and freshly cracked pepper. Hold in a bag in the fridge for a few hours. Pull out of the fridge in time to get it to room temp before cooking.
    Grill to your desired preference.

Bro I hope you don't get sick from that. You might want to read the fine print on that package before you eat it.
