Is it just me or has Masahista gone down in their standards
I use to go to the one at Beverly Hill often. However these last couple of years, the restaurant seem to have gone down in their standards. Their omakase menu isn't that good since they keep changing the ingredients.
Is it just me or do you guys also think so?

i haven't been in 5 years but their standards were not as high as i would've liked them to be back then. so i haven't returned.
with all of the nobu's opening on every block in the world, it's not really a surprise. if you want the best, go to Urasawa - more traditional, but night & day in terms of quality.
also, the nature of any omakase menu should be to change *DAILY* - only serve the freshest ingredients of the day. and even fish go in and out of season.
