    Default Xmas dinner results

So after much debate, here's what I ended up making.

    Gargonzola and Garlic cheesecake

plated over a spinach and wild greens salad with a pear and champagne vinigarette and candied walnuts.

Salt encrusted bone in prime rib, just out of the oven

crust removed, on the cutting board

Plated with turnip and pear puree, sugar snap peas sauteed in duck fat, and a port wine demi-glace. Fresh horseradish shredded and served on the side.

    pumpkin swirl cheesecake

plated with a bourbon chocolate sauce and egg nogg whipped cream

I prefer my prime rib rarer but I'd still eat it! Everything looks wonderful.
