    Default Planning a trip to Vancouver, Canada... suggestions welcome

    Me and the wife will be heading to Canada the weekend "before" Memorial Day; a friend of ours has invited us to his wedding. I want to get a feel for the local food as well as "nice" places so I'll take in all suggestions on where to go and what to avoid.

    Yaletown...spend the day there. Awesome for window shopping, people watching, and getting a general feel for the coolest neighborhood in the city IMO.

    I got nothing as far as food goes. sorry.
