Last night had Sirloin with red wine demi glace and roasted fingerling potatoes. If I closed my eyes I thought I was back in Paris.

Strips of Bacon
Fresh pieces of Jalapeno.
Not sure if it's that great because I was starving at the moment but It was a mouthgasm, no question.

Om noms from last night. Took my mom out to dinner to roy's in sf
Pepper crusted blackened ahi tuna on a bed of rice with wasabi sauce and lemon butter sauce

Filet mignon, medium, with umeboshi plum reduction sauce on bean puree
I export Pain and vodka.... and I'm all out of vodka. Wait, no, just found some more

Om noms with friends at bar crudo in the city.
Starters - sampler plate of 4 raw fishies:
1. Arctic Char - tried this one last, had to bolt it whole so I wouldn't throw up at the table. terrible
horseradish crème fraiche, wasabi tobiko, dill
2. Butterfish - Insanely delicious
squash puree, gala apple, sumac vinaigrette, shiso
3. Yellowtail - also really good
tuna and shishito aoili, daikon sprouts,
enoki mushrooms
4. Raw scallop. First time trying that, not bad at all, but the Tuna and Butterfish took the cake
grapefruit, jalapeno relish, micro cilantro,
black lava salt
Cold plates:
1. Uni Avocado Toast - FAN-FVCKING-TASTIC. Super sweet uni flavor, slightly citrusy, perfect dish
sudachi, frisee salad
2. San Sebastian - om nom nom nom!
tuna confit, asparagus, roasted red peppers, soft boiled egg,
castelveltrano olives, caper berries, manchego,
tomato bread
3. Lobster Beet Salad - I only got a little bit of lobster since I was the last to get the plate, but it was still tasty
golden and chioga beets, burrata, pistachios, arugula, banyuls
vinaigrette
Hot plates:
1. Head-on Louisana Prawns - annoying to peel, but the brodo really was super spicy and delicious, shrimp were yummy, great for sopping afterwards with bread
shishito peppers, fresno chilies, spicy red brodo,
2. Whole Roasted Branzino - Tasty, but tiny bones were offputting
butter beans, rainbow chard, oyster mushrooms, poblano chilies
3. Hamachi Collar - also tasty
